Ever seen someone with a football who makes it look like magic? That’s freestyle, and one of its brightest stars, Jay Rosa, brought his talent to a private event in Leeds on 23rd September. His performance was more than jaw-dropping tricks — it was about creativity, community, and a powerful message that’s touring the UK.
More than just tricks
Rosa’s style blends art, dance, and athletic skill, turning a football into a storytelling partner. What makes him stand out is how he connects with his audience, making every show feel personal. His Leeds performance wasn’t just entertainment — it was a shared experience that left guests buzzing.
Beyond football
For Rosa, freestyle is a tool to spark bigger conversations. Mastering his routines takes resilience, creativity, and confidence — qualities he encourages others to build. That’s why his shows are about inspiration as much as skill.
Raising awareness
The Leeds appearance was part of Rosa’s national EFL Tour, supporting mental health charity Mind. By combining high-energy sport with open conversations about wellbeing, he shows young people in particular that looking after mental health matters just as much as physical health.
